Housing costs have skyrocketed in our community. Homeownership has been pushed out of reach for too many young people, rents are skyrocketing and too many families are struggling to meet their housing costs. Jeff knows that housing is a human right and that housing should be safe, stable, accessible, and affordable. No family should have to spend more than 30 percent of their income on housing, so families have ample resources left to meet their other needs and save for retirement. As your Assemblyman, Jeff will support aggressive steps to increase the supply of housing, increase tenant protections for renters, and make homeownership more accessible for first-time homebuyers.
